It made a revenue total of $159.2 million worldwide. The editor of the movie Joseph Jett Sally talks about his different work experiences and how things went when he worked on The Matrix Resurrection
Joseph Jett Sally Didn’t Rely on the Previous Parts of the Movie
On being asked if Sally watched the previous parts of The Matrix saga (The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, and The Matrix Resurrections), he responded: “Not really. I mean, I watched them again, of course, but I kind of think there’s a danger in that because you just don’t want to do the exact same thing over again”.
Sally has worked as an editor on films like Ninja Assassin and Breaking In. Not only this, but he worked as an editor on the TV series Work in Progress, Sense8, Messiah, and Gideon’s Crossing.
When it came to the role of a VFX editor, he worked on Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and The A-Team, and adding to the list of his great work he was also an assistant editor on Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, Attack of the Clones, and Phantom Menace.
