According to a source close to the pair, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have called it quits.
“They did break up this week amicably due to distance and schedules,” the source said.
Since October 2021, the two have been romantically together. They made their red carpet debut in May after becoming Instagram official in March.
Kardashian talked about how she first met Davidson while hosting “Saturday Night Live” in an episode of her Hulu series.
“I did ‘SNL,’ and then when we kissed in the scene, it was just a vibe,” Kardashian said on the show noting that Davidson did not attend the after-show party.
“I called the producer at ‘SNL’ and was like, ‘Hey, do you have Pete’s number?” she recounted. “And they were like, ‘Yeah.’ I text him. I wasn’t even thinking like, ‘Oh my God, I’m gonna be in a relationship with him.'”
After eight years, Davidson left the venerable comedic sketch program at the end of the previous season.
After filing a request several months prior that her estranged husband, rapper Kanye West, fought, Kardashian was finally granted her request in March by a Los Angeles court, making her officially single.
The former couple, who went through a lengthy divorce process, are parents to four kids.
