Production has officially begun on Indiana Jones 5, and the first set photos from the UK have emerged online. It gave fans a glimpse behind the scenes of Lucasfilm’s highly anticipated fifth and final installment. The photos showcase a stuntman wearing a mask resembling a young Harrison Ford while riding a motorcycle.
The stuntman is also seen donning a Nazi uniform reminiscent of Ford’s attire in Raiders of the Lost Ark, indicating the potential use of de-aging technology for flashback scenes in the upcoming film.
Harrison Ford Returns in Iconic Role with Indiana Jones 5:
Indiana Jones 5 marks the return of Harrison Ford, reprising one of his most beloved roles as the titular explorer. Oscar nominee James Mangold, known for his work on Logan, is taking over the director’s chair, co-writing the screenplay with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, who previously collaborated on Ford v Ferrari.
This change in directorship occurred after Steven Spielberg announced his departure from directorial duties, although he remains involved in the film as a producer.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge and New Additions:
Emmy and Golden Globe winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge will star as the female lead alongside Ford in the final installment. The film also introduces new cast members, including Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, and Shaunette Renée Wilson, whose roles are currently undisclosed.
