For all you Gen-Z Marvel fans out there, keep reading to find out more about ‘Nova’ arguably the strongest character in the Marvel Universe
A fan-made logo of the superhero Nova has left Marvel comics fans wondering when “the human rocket” will be included in the ever-growing tapestry of the MCU. Though it seems the superhero inspired much of the Avengers movies, the character himself has never been included in the movies yet.
For those of you, who like me, were raised on the movies and not the comics, Nova is a man called Richard Rider who got his powers at random from an alien from the planet Xandar, a planet which has been mentioned several times in the Guardians Of The Galaxy and the Avengers franchises.
Nova’s powers are similar to that of Captain Marvel’s, as he has the ability to fly, has super strength, invulnerability and so on and also received his powers through similar means as the Captain Marvel we have come to know and love.
So, when a character with this much potential has not even begun to be featured in the cinematic universe after 15 years, fans have begun to get a little restless.
What’s New for Nova?
However, the induction of this superhero into the MCU is still possible. Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios has not yet ruled out this possibility and it seems that with the already existing Nova Corps from the GOTG universe, phase 5 and the upcoming Avengers movies (Secret Wars) may reintroduce this alien powered human to a new generation of Marvel fans.
