Evan Peters who has portrayed the title character in Netflix’s Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, joins the cast of the new Tron movie Tron: Ares.
Peters is getting cast opposite Jared Leto in the third part of Disney’s tech-pushing series Tron. The movie is directed by Joachim Ronning and will be hitting the theaters in 2025. The movie has been in talks of making for over a decade now, and finally, the cast has been finalized, and the movie is in production.

The first part of the series was released in 1982 starring Jeff Bridges as the main character of Kevin Flynn who is a video game designer, then he gets transported inside his creation and to save himself he teams up with Tron, a security program played by Bruce Boxleitner.
The second part of the movie in 2010, Tron: Legacy was directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde as the main characters. The movie was highly advanced in visual effects but couldn’t hit box office records. The third part of the movie has been postponed for a long time, and with the confirmation of the cast, it is finally a mission all-aboard.
What is new in the third part of the Tron series
The new Tron is in its production stage, and it is confirmed that it will be high-tech and quite interesting. The previous two movies were all about computers and programs, but the new part ensures to take the story out of the computers and focus on the emergence of a program that crosses over into the human world which might not be ready for any contact.
