Johnny Depp and Amber Heard met on the sets of Rum Diaries in 2009. They tied the knot in 2015 and filed for divorce in 2016, and the divorce was finalized in 2017.
Johnny Deep paid 7 million dollars in settlement when the divorce was finalized. In 2016 Amber Heard filed for divorce and got a restraining order against Johnny Depp, stating that he was abusive throughout their relationship either physically or verbally under the influence of alcohol.
These allegations angered the fans of Johnny Depp. Johnny accepted before the court that he has a problem with alcohol and drugs but has never been abusive under the influence, towards any woman. His first ex-wife gave witness to that statement.
But suddenly, in 2017, when the divorce was finalized, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp joined together and stated that the relationship was volatile at times, but it was filled with love and intense passion.
But Amber Heard couldn’t keep her mouth shut. In 2018 when all her craze in the media had settled, she chose to write a column for Washington Post that Johnny Depp was abusive, and she was a victim.
Fans grew furious after seeing her make allegations against Depp even though they gave a statement just one year back saying there was no physical or emotional harm caused by either one in the marriage
